Privacy notice

Everyday English with Annie is the data controller for Annie's Everyday English. We collect as little as possible — enough to keep your account, your learning progress and your subscription working. Questions? Email support@annieeverydayenglish.com.

What we collect

Account details: your email address, display name and optional profile picture
Learning data: words you have learned, starred or bookmarked, quiz answers, streaks, daily goals and review schedules
Billing data: handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details
Basic technical data: error reports and anonymous usage needed to keep the app working

Why we use it

To sign you in, save your progress across devices, schedule reviews at the right time, run your subscription, and fix problems. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share personal data with the following recipients so the service can run:

Paddle.com Market Ltd — our payments reseller and merchant of record. Paddle receives your name, email address, billing country and purchase details to process payments, taxes and invoices.
Our hosting and database provider — stores your account and learning data.
Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google, which confirms your identity and shares your email address, name and profile picture with us.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

Your choices

You can view and edit your profile in the app, and ask us for a copy of your data or for your account and all its learning data to be deleted. Email support@annieeverydayenglish.com and we will action it within 30 days.

Children

The app is intended for learners aged 13 and over. We encourage younger children to use the app under adult supervision.

Security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted to your own account. We keep your data for as long as your account exists, and delete it after your account is closed.
